For the first time in 65 years, the iconic Rockefeller Christmas Tree will come from Massachusetts, specifically a 74-foot Norway Spruce from West Stockbridge. The tree will be cut on November 7 and transported to Rockefeller Center by November 9, where it will be adorned with 50,000 LED lights and topped with a Swarovski crystal star. The official tree lighting ceremony is scheduled for December 4, and the tree will remain on display until mid-January 2025, with its wood being donated to Habitat for Humanity post-holiday. In addition, Boston will celebrate its 83rd annual tree lighting featuring a 50-foot Nova Scotia spruce, while festivities like Snowport, set to open soon, promise a vibrant holiday atmosphere.
