Michael Avalon Appointed as Director of Athletics at Pearl River

Pearl River Community College has announced the promotion of Michael Avalon from head baseball coach to Director of Athletics. Avalon, who has been with the college since 2016, previously served as Assistant Athletic Director since 2022 and will continue to lead the highly successful baseball program while overseeing the entire athletic department. College President Dr. Adam Breerwood praised Avalon’s commitment to excellence and leadership skills, expressing confidence in his ability to inspire athletes and uphold the college’s values.
