Missouri Unveils Renderings for $250 Million Memorial Stadium Renovation

The Missouri Board of Governors has announced a significant $250 million renovation project for Memorial stadium, aimed at enhancing the fan experience and increasing the venue’s capacity to approximately 65,000 spectators. Key features of the renovation include the addition of 150 loge boxes, 14 field-level suites, 250 club seats, and improved LED field lighting. The project, which breaks ground on November 30, reflects the university’s commitment to competitiveness within the SEC and aims to preserve the historic stadium, originally built in 1926, as a point of pride for the Mizzou community. Athletic Director Laird Veatch emphasized that these changes are crucial for the football program’s success at a high level of competition.
