Bavaria Technology Solutions Delivers LED Lighting for New Security Facilities of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department

IXYS Integrated Circuits Division (ICD), a subsidiary of IXYS Corporation, has launched the IX9908 High-Voltage, Dimmable LED Driver with Power Factor Correction (PFC). This quasi-resonant controller is designed for dimmable LED lighting applications, offering flicker-free, phase-cut dimming and high efficiency of over 90%. Rated for 600V, it supports both 120V and 240V offline applications. The IX9908 features advanced protection circuitry and comes in a compact 8-lead SOIC package, making it suitable for various lighting needs, including decorative lights and LED bulbs. CEO Dr. Nathan Zommer highlighted that this product expands IXYS’s range of energy-efficient LED solutions, enhancing their offerings in the market.
