New Leadership Announcement for Research, Innovation, and Plant Protection at OGVG

Ontario Greenhouse Vegetable Growers (OGVG) have appointed Daniel Terlizzese as their new Research, Innovation & Plant Protection Lead, effective November 4. Terlizzese, who holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Guelph, brings extensive expertise in greenhouse crop management and plant physiology, having previously worked as an agronomist at Sollum Technologies and at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada. His experience includes managing crop growth, conducting plant physiological measurements, and developing innovative agricultural practices. Richard Lee, executive director of OGVG, expressed enthusiasm about Terlizzese joining the team, noting his innovative approach and dedication to advancing greenhouse vegetable production, which aligns with OGVG’s mission to support the industry.
