Access Fixtures has launched a new 158w LED high bay light that offers significant energy savings, using 66% less energy than a traditional 400-watt metal halide fixture while providing equivalent light output. Rated for 100,000 hours, this LED solution is projected to cut operating costs by approximately $2,385.86 over a decade, with a payback period often under two years. Ideal for large indoor spaces like warehouses and sports facilities, the LED high bay not only boasts longer lifespan and lower maintenance but also a higher color rendering index (CRI) of 70+, enhancing light quality. CEO Steven Rothschild emphasized that this innovation represents a shift towards more energy-efficient lighting options, compatible with advanced controls like occupancy sensors and dimming. The luminaire is assembled in the USA with both domestic and imported components.
