DarkSky International has launched a pioneering certification program aimed at reducing light pollution in industrial-scale ports, specifically the DarkSky Approved Port Marine Terminal Lighting Program. Initiated in partnership with Port Tampa Bay in 2023, this initiative focuses on transforming Berths 301 and 218 into a model of responsible lighting practices.
