Osram to Illuminate Frankfurt's Financial Hub with Over 12,000 Indoor Lighting Fixtures

Osram celebrated its stock market debut by illuminating Frankfurt’s financial district with the new TaunusTurm high-rise tower, featuring over 12,000 energy-efficient LED luminaires. Currently under construction, this 170-meter tall office tower will offer approximately 60,000 square meters of office space across 40 floors, with initial occupancy planned for later this year. Developed by Tishman Speyer and Commerz Real, and constructed by Ed. Züblin AG, the project highlights a commitment to sustainability and innovative design, as noted by Christian Schraft, head of Osram’s Luminaires unit. Additionally, Osram’s management is set to mark the company’s stock market introduction on July 8 in a city renowned for its significant role in the lighting industry, including hosting the biennial Light+Building fair.
