Philips Lighting Collaborates with Amsterdam ArenA on Innovative Pitch Lighting Solutions

Philips Lighting has entered into an innovative partnership with Amsterdam arena to implement dynamic pitch lighting in preparation for UEFA Euro 2020. This collaboration will see the installation of the Philips ArenaVision LED system, which features movable dynamic color spots. This advanced lighting technology aims to enhance broadcasts for HDTV and improve the entertainment experience at concerts and events. The ArenaVision system, recognized as the world’s first LED sports pitch lighting to meet stringent international standards, will reduce flicker in video broadcasts, allowing spectators to see even the smallest details. The upgrades are set for completion by the end of 2016, with both parties expressing enthusiasm for the transformative potential of this partnership in elevating fan experiences and setting new lighting standards.
