Planned Improvements at Grover Cleveland School Include Field Renovation

Caldwells, NJ, is considering a series of upgrades at Grover Cleveland Middle School, including the replacement of the existing natural grass baseball field with a synthetic turf field. West Caldwell Township is seeking funding through the New Jersey Green Acres Program, with total project costs estimated at approximately $5.05 million. Proposed enhancements also include the construction of a batting tunnel, bullpen, concession stand, coaches box, restrooms, and sports lighting, among other facilities. A public hearing is scheduled for January 28, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the West Caldwell Municipal Building, where community members are invited to learn more and provide feedback on the project.
