PWI Introduces PMA-Certified LED Lighting for Beechjet/Hawker 400 and 400A Models

PWI has introduced a new PMA-approved LED cabin lighting solution for Hawker/Beechjet 400 and 400A light business jets, allowing operators to replace outdated fluorescent lighting with energy-efficient LEDs. This upgrade involves four new part numbers and eliminates the need for changes to the original aircraft wiring, as the LEDs fit the same dimensions as the fluorescent tubes and work with existing 28V power supplies. The new lighting offers numerous advantages, including lower voltage requirements, instant-on functionality without flickering or humming, and a lifespan of 100,000 hours. PWI’s president, Robi Lorik, emphasized that the LED systems enhance the overall passenger experience from boarding to disembarking. These systems come with a three-year warranty and are designed to create a neutral white light while producing no heat or requiring maintenance.
