RED Horticulture to Present Research at International Horticultural Science Symposium in Greece

RED Horticulture’s Raphaël Quenum, Head of Agronomic Research Trials, will be a featured speaker at the IX International Symposium on Seed, Transplant and Stand Establishment of Horticultural Crops, as well as the III International Symposium on Vegetable Grafting in Thessaloniki. Scheduled for June 4, Quenum’s presentation, titled “Smart LED Lighting to Boost Crop Performance and Energy Efficiency in Propagation,” will showcase innovative research on dynamic LED lighting strategies for enhancing tomato seedling production. The study reveals that adjusting the red light wavelength can not only reduce energy usage but also significantly improve growth metrics such as leaf count and biomass. Quenum emphasizes the importance of smart lighting solutions in advancing sustainable horticultural practices.
