Seesmart’s LED Retrofit Initiatives Lead to Energy Savings at Regis High School

Seesmart Technologies has successfully completed a comprehensive LED lighting retrofit at Regis High School, a prestigious tuition-free Jesuit institution in the New York metropolitan area. In total, over 2,500 fluorescent lights were replaced with energy-efficient Seesmart LED tube lights, yielding significant benefits such as an estimated annual energy savings of more than $36,000 and a reduction in the carbon footprint by nearly 120,000 pounds. The installation, which spanned various facilities including classrooms, offices, and hallways, commenced in January 2012 and was largely completed within three months. Additionally, Regis High School received a $32,000 rebate from Con Edison, further enhancing the financial viability of the upgrade.
