St. Joseph City Council Greenlights Construction of Eight Pickleball Courts at Corby Grove

At the recent St. Joseph City Council meeting, officials approved a $796,091 project to build eight new pickleball courts at Corby Grove, replacing the existing tennis courts. Funded by capital projects and parks sales tax funds, the new facility will feature fencing, LED sports lighting, shade structures, and a drinking fountain. Parks Director Jeff Atkins highlighted the project’s aim to enhance recreational amenities, making it a more inviting space for players and spectators alike, with completion expected by next spring.
