Pune has taken a significant step towards sustainability with the launch of its first completely diesel and petrol-free corporate fleet by Routematic in partnership with Infosys. This innovative fleet consists of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Electric Vehicles (EVs) exclusively, marking Routematic as the only enterprise mobility provider in the city operating without fossil fuels. Sriram Kannan, founder & CEO of Routematic, emphasized their commitment to transforming corporate transport into a more sustainable model amid rising vehicular emissions that contribute to air pollution and traffic congestion in Indian cities. In related news, Torrent Pharmaceuticals introduced Shelcal® Total, a new adult nutrition supplement, while Tata AutoComp Systems formed a joint venture with Japan’s Ichikoh Industries to enhance its presence in the automotive lighting market by acquiring Valeo’s lighting business in India.
