The Taiwan government is set to announce new national standards for the smart lighting industry on August 14, aiming to boost demand and enhance global business opportunities, according to the Institute for Information Industry (III). These standards, which have received approval from Taiwan’s major lighting associations, are designed to improve lighting management efficiency, enhance nighttime safety, and promote energy-saving initiatives. The III emphasizes that this initiative comes at a favorable time for Taiwan’s LED industry, as declining prices for LED products could further strengthen its competitiveness in the market.
