Thailand is enhancing its reputation as a premier destination for stargazing with the expansion of its dark sky network in 2025, which now includes 16 new conservation sites such as Thung Non Pa Ko, Khao Phra Wihan, and Phu Suan Sai. This initiative, part of the ongoing “AMAZING DARK SKY IN THAILAND” campaign by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT), aims to protect natural night environments and promote awareness about light pollution. As Thailand embraces its role as a leader in dark sky tourism, these new venues promise visitors a chance to experience the breathtaking beauty of the night sky while prioritizing environmental conservation and responsible tourism practices.
