Tías to Launch Energy-Efficient LED Lighting in Municipal Pavilion

The Tías City Council is upgrading the Municipal Pavilion by replacing its halogen lighting with energy-efficient LED systems, part of a broader initiative to enhance municipal facilities. The project, costing €158,392.10 and funded by the council’s own resources, involves swapping 64 halogen lights for 24 LED fixtures, improving safety and visual comfort for athletes and spectators. Mayor José Juan Cruz and other council members inspected the ongoing work, emphasizing the commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability. This upgrade follows previous renovations, including a new roof to address waterproofing issues and a modernized floor, further enhancing the pavilion’s amenities to accommodate high-level competitions.
