Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) marked the 20th anniversary of its Barossa Packaging Centre, a pivotal site that centralizes wine bottling and packaging for Australia and New Zealand. Located in Nuriootpa, South Australia, the facility is the largest premium wine bottling operation in the Southern Hemisphere, boasting over 59,000m² of space. Site manager Jorge Henry highlighted its significance for TWE and the industry, noting the continued investment in technology and training that supports team members throughout their careers. Since its opening in 2005, the center has bottled more than 270 million cases of wine, equating to an impressive 23 billion glasses. With ongoing advancements in sustainability and production capabilities, TWE’s commitment to excellence was celebrated during a special event attended by staff, partners, and local officials.
