Wipro Consumer Care & Lighting Names Kumar Chander as CEO and Managing Director

Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting has announced the appointment of Kumar Chander as its new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, effective February 1, 2026. Chander, currently serving as President of Southeast Asia and Yardley India, will succeed Vineet Agrawal, who is set to retire in January 2026 after 40 years with the organization. Under Agrawal’s leadership since 2002, the company expanded significantly, completing 15 strategic acquisitions and growing its revenue from ₹300 crore to over ₹10,600 crore. Chander, with 34 years at Wipro, has been instrumental in integrating international acquisitions and establishing acquired brands in leadership positions across various geographies.
