WNC & Associates, a pioneer in the affordable housing sector, has partnered with Belmont Development Company to acquire and renovate three properties in Arkoma and Pocola, Oklahoma, aimed at enhancing affordable housing availability in Le Flore County. The properties—GardenWalk of Pocola, GardenWalk of PocArk – Pocola, and GardenWalk of PocArk – Arkoma—will collectively undergo significant renovations with a focus on modernizing living spaces and upgrading community facilities. These improvements include energy-efficient upgrades, refreshed kitchens and bathrooms, as well as enhancing exterior amenities such as playgrounds and landscaping. The project, expected to be completed by November 2025, reflects both companies’ commitment to providing quality housing for families at or below 60% of the Area Median Income.
