Xpeng G6 to Launch on February 28 with Noteworthy Enhancements

Xpeng Motors has unveiled its updated G6 SUV, set to launch on February 28, 2025, featuring a total of 81 enhancements in exterior, interior, and technology. Among the key updates are a new “Galaxy Light Wing” LED light strip, repositioned Xpeng logo, and upgraded petal-style alloy wheels, which slightly extend the vehicle’s length to 4,758 mm. Inside, the G6 boasts a larger infotainment screen with a floating design, an electronic button-operated door system, and improved storage solutions, similar to the P7+ liftback’s layout. The SUV maintains its single-motor configuration, generating 218 kW, while significant assembly part upgrades indicate a major facelift. The G6 has become a crucial model for Xpeng since its initial launch in June 2023 at a starting price of 199,900 yuan (approximately $27,560). Additionally, the updated model’s regulatory filings suggest a shift away from LiDAR technology, focusing instead on advanced driver-assistance features.
