Belleview Evaluates ,000 Lease for Holiday Lighting Around Lake Lillian

Belleview officials are set to discuss a proposal from Holiday Outdoor Decor to lease holiday lights for the city’s upcoming “Light Up” event, which aims to enhance the festivities around Lake Lillian. The proposed budget of $50,212.50 includes extensive decorations, such as 648 sets of red and green lights on nine trees, garland-wrapped poles, and illuminated palm trees. The city would pay half of the total cost before September 1, with the remainder due upon completion of the installation. The Belleview City Commission will review this proposal at their regular meeting on Tuesday, June 3, at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
