This state-of-the-art facility features multiple greenhouse compartments and walk-in growth chambers designed to foster research and development of innovative seed products under customizable conditions. Committed to sustainability, the site boasts energy-efficient LED lighting, optimized shading systems, and water recycling capabilities. Fred Van Ex, Inari’s Head for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, emphasized the investment’s reflection of faith in the Ghent team’s talent as the EU moves toward adopting new genomic techniques for developing region-specific crops.
